The Role
As a Frontend Developer, you are part of a Software development team. You'll analyze requirements provided by the team's Product Owner, design and develop technical solutions or processes, do unit testing, maintain and improve production code, contribute to the performance improvement work, keep the project's technical documentation up to date, while minimizing manual processes and providing automated solutions.
Reporting to an Engineering Manager in a Blip team formed by 4 to 5 Developers and 1 QA, you will use technology as a basis to deliver amazing value to our customers while scaling our platform to meet the demands of worldwide markets.
What You'll be Doing
- Develop software as part of an agile team with short iterations and frequent releases.
- Contribute to planning and the subsequent development of applications.
- Remain up to date in terms of current and future needed upgrades.
What You'll Bring
- Awareness or previous experience in using agile methodologies.
- Consolidated professional experience building high quality, performant Java
Script applications. - Consolidated experience in Java
Script frameworks/libraries, such as Angular
JS or React
JS. - Experience with Java
Script test tools (e. g. Mocha, Jasmine, Jest, Protractor, Selenium, etc. ). - Knowledge of packaging/build tools (e. g. NPM, Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, etc. ) and
- side Java
Script (Node
JS). - Experience with automated testing and mocking techniques.
- Experience in writing clean code.
- Experience using established design patterns.
- Passion for building a great consumer product that our customers will love.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability of interacting effectively with other functional teams.
- Ability to work in a
- paced,
- oriented and collaborative environment. - Proactiveness and ability to coach and mentor colleagues.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and rapid change.
