- growing startup that helps retailers and other business areas to provide their customers with
- free, ‘grab and go’ shopping experiences. Customers can pick what they want and leave without the need to go to a cashier or scan the products.

Reckon’s proprietary technology combines cloud AI algorithms — which are easily and quickly scalable without the need of
- site installations and product recognition — that automatically identifies all products using their core characteristics and sensor combination — achieving higher accuracy in recognition and fraud prevention.

At the moment, Reckon is looking to establish a strong presence in Europe and the Middle East, working with
- known names in the retail world.

Your Role

You will be responsible for Frontend development and work closely with the backend developers to guarantee a good development flow. The frontend developer will have an immediate effect on our business success as well as the success of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Determining the structure and design of web pages.
• Developing features to enhance the user experience.
• Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
• Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.
• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
• Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
• Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.

Requirements

• Education: BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: 2+ years in a technical role, preferably in web development or
  - oriented architectures.

Technical Skills:

• Frontend Expertise: Strong experience with Next. js and its ecosystem.
• Proficiency in React. js.
• Familiarity with Post
  CSS and CSS Modules for styling.
• API & Integrations: Experience with API integrations (REST & Graph
  QL).
• Working with third-party integrations (authentication, payments, analytics, etc. ).
• Data & Performance: Solid understanding of Data Structures.
• Strong testing and documentation practices.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively in both technical and interpersonal settings.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.

Nice to Have

• Experience with React Native.
