Job Description:

As a Consultant Specialist you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through complex technical and functional challenges, focusing on Oracle's Simphony Food & Beverage (F&B) solutions.

Your responsibilities will extend from delivering comprehensive consulting services and training sessions to providing technical expertise and solving complex problems. You will serve as a trusted advisor, offering insights and practical solutions to enhance client operations and drive business growth.

What you'll do:

1. Install and configure the Oracle Hospitality F&B product suite
2. Train the application software of current Food & Beverage management techniques
3. Impart specific knowledge related to restaurant operating procedures
4. Be familiar with and adhere to the latest training and installation standards and procedures
5. Work with the My Oracle Support (MOS) global support system and Support organization on escalating client issues
6. Work with the customer and the broader Oracle Hospitality F&B team to ensure service level requirements are exceeded
7. Participate in online education and product training courses; Participate in quality assurance of new product and/or version release software. SQL and technical skills
8. Submit timely and accurate project status and other required reporting via current communication method
9. Ability & credibility to work effectively with the client at all levels of the organization
10. Proven ability to work unsupervised or as a team member of both the local office team and wider company teams
11. Creative thinking abilities so experiences and knowledge may be used to create new ideas and think 'outside the box’

What you'll bring:

1. Previous experience with the Hospitality industry experience in a supervisory or management role.
2. Tertiary qualification in a Technical or Hospitality Management field
3. Knowledge of manual Food & Beverage procedures.
4. Familiarity with relational database management systems such as Oracle 12c Database Server is preferred.
5. Good working knowledge of TCP/IP networks, PCs and troubleshooting techniques.

We also prefer:

1. Previous experience with Oracle Hospitality Simphony Point-of-Sale
2. Previous experience as a trainer/consultant
3. MCSE and OCP certifications.
4. Analytical
   - solving skills.
5. Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
6. Superior communication skills, written and verbal
7. Fluency in English
8. Fluency in French
