Overview / Summary:

We are seeking a FMEA Engineer for an automotive sector project.

Responsibilities and Tasks of the Job:

• Planning and implementation of Design FMEA work sessions.
• Autonomous planning, implementation, and moderation of
  - based FMEAs.
• Compliance with predefined methods and ensure the formal validity of the FMEAs.
• Ensuring consistency between product and process FMEAs.
• Fill out the FMEA in
  - specific tools.
• Moderate characteristic classification.
• Interface with functional safety engineering to understand the safety impacts of FMEA items.
• Interface as required with external development partners and OEM.
• Give feedback on the debug results to hardware and software engineers and transversal departments.
• Development of FMEDA and FTA.
• Knowledge of IATF norms.

• Degree in mechanical/electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent.
• Languages: fluent English; French is valued.
• Familiar with working in the automotive sector.
• Minimum 3 years experience in an automotive environment.
• Experience with Ansys Medini Analyze Software tool (especially FMEA) as well as FMEDA and FTA.
• Knowledge of Quality Tools (DFMEA, Control Plan, PFMEA, 8D Reports, Lesson learned, etc. )
• Experience with FMEA HANDBOOK 2019, VDA, IAGA, and APQP.
• Knowledge and experience of ISO TS16949; ISO 26262; IATF certification (valuable).
• Strong technical capability with experience in electrical, electronics, control systems (hardware and software), and diagnostics.
• Valuable experience as a product developer.
