About your future Team

In an organization that embraces the public cloud services, a Fin
Ops culture and framework is crucial and therefore the skills and talent for the ongoing Fin
Ops needs and continuous improvement is fundamental. The Fin
Ops team is within the System Improvement team under the EAM-IOPS area, and this open position seeks to reinforce the team with a Fin
Ops Operational Specialist.

How will your

- day look like:

• Operational Management: Oversee the
  -
  - day operations of the Fin
  Ops practice, ensuring the effective implementation of Fin
  Ops processes and tools.
• Cost Optimization: Lead efforts to identify and implement
  - saving measures, including anomaly detection,
  - based discounts, and savings opportunities.
• Anomaly Detection and Management: Monitor cloud spending to detect and manage anomalies, ensuring costs are within expected ranges and addressing issues promptly.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights into cloud spending patterns and areas for optimization.
• Tool Implementation: Manage and optimize the use of Fin
  Ops tools and platforms to support financial management and cost optimization efforts.
• Collaboration with Strategic Lead: Work closely with the Strategic Lead to ensure alignment between strategic goals and operational activities, providing updates and insights to support strategic
  - making.
• Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Coordinate with engineering teams to implement technical solutions for cost optimization, tagging hygiene, and other operational improvements.
• Automation Driver: Lead the initiative to increase automation within the Fin
  Ops team, developing and implementing automated solutions to streamline processes and reduce manual efforts.
• Process Improvement: Continuously improve Fin
  Ops processes and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Training and Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to team members and other stakeholders on Fin
  Ops principles and best practices.
• Budget Management: Excellent understanding of the budgeting and forecasting process. Oversees and follows up on budgets across the organization.

What makes you unique:

• Fin
  Ops Expertise: Strong understanding of the Fin
  Ops framework, principles, and best practices. Certification in Fin
  Ops (e. g. , Fin
  Ops Certified Practitioner) is preferred.
• Cloud Cost Management: In-depth knowledge of cloud cost management techniques and tools, including cost optimization strategies.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make
  - driven decisions.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), including familiarity with cloud cost management tools and automation scripts.
• Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools to oversee the implementation of Fin
  Ops initiatives.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial and technical information to diverse stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with
  - functional teams, including engineering, finance, and executive teams.
• Automation Skills: Proficiency in developing and implementing automation solutions to optimize Fin
  Ops processes and reduce manual workload.
• Operational Proficiency: Proven experience in an operational role, preferably within a technology or
  - centric organization.
• Cost Optimization Initiatives: Demonstrated experience in leading cost optimization initiatives and managing cloud spending.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Experience in engaging with and managing relationships with stakeholders, including engineers, finance teams, and executives.
• Automation Implementation: Proven experience in developing and implementing automation solutions within an operational context.
• Fluent English (mandatory), Spanish will be valued.
