Job Description:
We are supporting our client, Stealth Startup that offers a B2B marketplace, in their search for a Financial Manager in Lisbon.
We are looking for a Financial Manager with both strategic and operational skills, who will be responsible for leading all financial operations of the company. This role is crucial for ensuring financial sustainability and supporting the company’s expansion, providing strategic insights and ensuring compliance with best practices and financial regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Management: Develop and oversee financial planning, including budgeting, revenue forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and report the company’s financial performance, ensuring targets are met and proposing corrective actions when necessary.
- Fundraising: Manage and optimize relationships with investors and assist in securing funding (seed, venture capital, or private equity), as well as preparing financial documentation for investors.
- Internal Control: Implement robust internal control policies and oversee audits, ensuring the company complies with all legal and fiscal regulations.
- Risk Management: Evaluate and mitigate financial risks, proposing strategies to ensure the company’s stability and growth.
- Reporting and Compliance: Ensure the production of
- quality financial reports and compliance with local and international accounting standards. - Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and leverage technology to enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, preferably with a background in consulting and investor relations.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of accounting, corporate finance, and tax legislation.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and accurate reports.
- Organization: Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Proactivity: A proactive profile, able to work independently and as part of a team, always seeking continuous improvement.
