Founded in 2021, the Airbus Global Business Services (AGBS) unit will be contributing to Airbus' global success and play a vital role in Airbus' transformation journey in
standardization, harmonization, digitalisation and automation of

responsabilidades chave
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial position of the "Buy
in the Make" (BIM) cost base of Broughton (UK) plant. Buy in the Make relates to procured
items under the operational and financial responsibility of the plant production teams. The
annual Broughton BIM cost base is approx 150m€ (25% of the plant production recurring
cost base).
? The successful candidate will be part of the Broughton plant financial controlling team,
reporting to the Head of Planning & Reporting.
? There will also be strong links to the operational teams managing BIM within the plant and
regular alignment and
- working with these teams is essential (physically and remotely).
? As part of the role, the successful candidate will also be responsible for the consolidation of
BIM
- level forecasts across other European plants for onward alignment with central
programme teams.
? Guarantee the assessment of all risks & opportunities related to Recurring Costs
? Ensure the
- up of corrective measures defined to achieve the targets.
? Guarantee the financial reliability and accuracy of any Business Case.
? Ensure Finance processes implementation and conformity (planning, budgeting & reporting
processes), ensuring full compliance with the Internal Financial Control Standards.
? Contributes & promotes financial awareness to the operational management team.
? Contributes to continuous improvement of BIM and Broughton/Wing Controlling Processes
through regular challenging of the activity, including targets setting and KPI development
and deployment.
? Overall business partner to the BIM operational teams and integrated member of the BIM
management team.
? Managing, advising & training of early careers (e. g Intern) support to BIM
? Working & liaising with stakeholders in order to ensure alignment on the delivery of major
forecasting milestones (FC1, 2 &3) and OP
? Preparation & submission of multi year Operative Plan and cascade of annual budget
? Providing Robust Forecasting of RC costs against targets
? Identify and assess financial Risks and Opportunities
? Evaluate project appraisals & business cases to assist
- making
? Lead the team in identifying and securing business improvements & project savings.
? Propose and control all corrective measures and action plans to mitigate risks and achieve
opportunities
? Monitor & challenge as necessary all discretionary investment and ensure that planned
cash flows & NPVs are in accordance with the approved Business Case for the investment
? To promote financial awareness and provide financial guidance to managers and their
respective teams and ensure adequate processes exist to have stringent financial controls.
? Ensure that there is consistency, transparency and accuracy of all financial information.
? Ensure rigorous processes are in place to maintain data integrity and guarantee accuracy
of reported RC actual & forecast information.
? Ensure compliance of UK processes to Airbus Internal Financial Control Standards (IFCS)
and Ethics and Compliance.
? Support the continuous improvement of financial processes and deployment of new tools
competências
Educated to at least degree / masters level
Experience in a relevant financial controlling / management accounting role
Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)
A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
Ability to effectively communicate with and influence a diverse mix of finance and
operational stakeholders of various nationalities and of various levels of seniority
The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your developmentt.
