About the Role:

Integrated in Constructel Visabeira Corporate Centre, the Financial Audit Director (M/F) will be responsible for enhancing decision making by ensuring the quality, consistency and reliability of Constructel Visabeira’s financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure financial data used in reporting across the organization is accurate, consistent and trustworthy
2. Identify, assess and resolve data quality issues in financial systems and reports
3. Improve data management processes and quality
4. Provide guidance and support to data owners and business users
5. Define accounting policies and monitor consistent adoption across Constructel Visabeira Group
6. Establish a framework of internal controls for ensuring data integrity and reliability
7. Monitor the effectiveness of controls and compliance with corporate policies
8. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address weaknesses

Minimum Requirements:

1. Masters degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or similar, with solid financial background
2. Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in a similar role or as Audit Manager (in-house or as a business consultant)
3. Ability to communicate complicated processes effectively & in a
   - oriented manner
4. Results oriented, influential and also an empathetic listener with the ability to build strong relationships in a matrixed and participative environment
5. Solid leadership skills
6. Experience overseeing
   - functional and international teams is preferred
7. Knowledge of SAP
8. Oral and written fluency in English and Portuguese language
9. Availability to travel
