Purpose :
As a key member of the Corporate Finance team, the Financial Analyst will support financial planning, reporting, and analysis to drive informed
- making across our European operations.
This role is crucial in :
- Ensuring financial efficiency, supporting business growth, and maintaining strong financial controls in the renewable energy sector.
- Assisting in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to support the company’s strategic goals.
- Analysing financial data, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing insights to improve financial performance.
- Collaborating with
- functional teams to ensure accurate financial planning and compliance with company policies and regulations.
This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibilities we will trust you with :
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting process by collecting and analyzing financial data across departments.
- Variance Analysis: Monitor financial performance, identify variances between actual results and forecasts, and provide insights to support
- making. - Data Management: Maintain and update financial models, ensuring consistency and reliability in financial data.
- Market & Industry Research: Support financial evaluations of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the renewable energy sector.
- Investment & Project Support: Assist in financial due diligence for new projects, evaluating costs, risks, and returns.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial reporting efficiency and support the implementation of best practices.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across project development, operations, and legal to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise :
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role (internships or graduate programs considered).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial software (e. g. , SAP, Power BI, or other ERP systems) is a plus.
- Understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting principles.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English (additional European languages such as French is a plus).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a dynamic,
- paced environment.
