We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support the team in helping our

Bank to make sound financial decisions by providing
- driven insights and recommendations. The role requires a combination of financial expertise, analytical skills, and effective communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Budgeting

Assist in the development of financial plans and budgets.

Work with different departments to gather relevant financial information for budgeting purposes.

Financial Analysis

Conduct thorough financial analysis to assess the company's performance.

Evaluate financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic decisions.

Forecasting:

Prepare financial forecasts based on historical data and current market conditions.

Monitor and analyze variances between actual financial results and forecasts.

Reporting:

Generate and present financial reports to management and regulators.

Provide regular updates on key financial metrics and performance indicators.

Cost Analysis:

Analyze and report on costs related to various business operations.

Identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.

Ad Hoc Analysis:

Perform ad hoc financial analysis as requested by management.

Assist in special projects and initiatives as needed.

Procurement

Proceed with source, vendor management and contract negotiation.

Tax Reporting

Preparation of tax returns, including federal, state, and local filings.

Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness for tax reporting purposes.

Internal norms and regulations

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.

Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Familiarity with financial software and tools.

Experience

Experience in a big4 environment will be considered a plus
