Finance Manager, Porto District
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee financial operations and strategy, ensuring stability and growth across our business. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional to make a meaningful impact while working in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Location: Ireland or Portugal (remote)
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee financial activities for our operations in Ireland, Portugal, and Spain.
- Lead and support the accounting teams in Spain and Portugal, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Monitor financial performance and provide key insights to the Company Founder to support strategic
- making and business growth. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements across all three regions.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Work closely with senior management to refine financial procedures and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide guidance to the accounts team, ensuring consistency in financial practices across different locations.
- Conduct financial audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.

- hoc financial challenges.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English (C1 level), with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A motivated and ambitious accountant eager to contribute to a rapidly growing online business.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, compliance, and tax regulations in Ireland, Portugal, and Spain.
- Experience using Xero or similar accounting software.
- Proven ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively with a distributed team.
- Comfortable working closely with the Company Founder to drive financial and business improvements.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities across different locations.
- Willingness to travel as needed to collaborate with teams in Spain, Portugal, and Ireland.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex financial data.
- Ability to work independently in a
- paced, dynamic team environment. - Opportunity to work on a contract basis with a commitment of two days per week.
