Finance Capital Markets Products Senior Controller
About the job
- The Finance Capital Markets Products Controller mission is to ensure the reliability, sincerity, integrity and exhaustiveness of the accounting delivered by the upstream chains (Front to Back) and organisation (Operations – Back and Middle Office). This position works actively as a finance business partner.
Your Main Activities Are
- Ensure the accounting control level one on a dedicated perimeter of products within your team and ensure proper justification on all accounting control, including reconciliation with operations data inventory and reconciliation of sensitive accounts.
- Ensure good collaboration with all partners and animate the relation by anticipating any known issues (pre-closing), as well as ensure fluid communication during the closing period and formalize issues to present them in order to avoid them next time (post-closing).
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the control
- up and ensure permanent evolutions are realized to avoid manual adjustments. - Formalize team procedures and operating guides, including participation in training and coaching for new joiners; formalization of onboarding materials; and active participation in management and department staff meetings.
- Contribute or lead projects related to the efficiency of the processes and systems, proposing new developments or improvements in the existing chain to secure processes and reduce operational risk.
- Support and cover N-1 during its absences or unavailability on parallel perimeters.
Profile and Skills to Success
- Postgraduate in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written communication.
- Knowledge of MS Office Pack, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication skills, oral & written.
- Ability to deliver and collaborate.
- Client-focused with the ability to develop and adapt processes.
- Analytical ability.
