The opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and confident Functional Business Analyst to join our Data and analytics team. You will help our clients and internal teams to identify business needs across the different business areas and transpose them to technological and data requirements in a structured and assertive way. Additionally, you will support project teams with deep business understanding and knowledge from the different sectors at hand. Finally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the definition of reports and dashboards aiming to support the daily
- making of our clients.

Skills and attributes for success

1. Knowledge of the best practices and market trends regarding data architectures;
2. Identify and characterize data exploration initiatives;
3. Ability to interpret business needs and convert them into functional data for implementation;
4. Experience in defining data governance models and redefining Data Architectures;
5. Strong autonomy,
   - solving, and communication skills;
6. Experience in developing user stories (Agile);
7. Requirements gathering and transposition to user stories (Agile);
8. Process design;
9. Experience in the energy sector is a plus.

To qualify for the role, you must have

1. Academic education in Engineering, Informatics, or similar fields of study;
2. 1+ years of professional experience in Consulting;
3. 1+ year of professional experience in Data and
   - related projects as a Business Analyst;
4. Systematization of functional requirements;
5. Knowledge of agile methodology (design, presentation, and acceptance of user stories);
6. Basic knowledge of process design (BPMN as reference);
7. Professional Scrum Master and/or Professional Product Owner certifications;
8. Flexibility in learning;
9. Interest in process and system improvement;
10. Full English Proficiency.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

1. Knowledge of topics related to Data Management;
2. Experience in Design Thinking;
3. Experience in JIRA.
