Job Description:

We are building a world class team and would love you to join us. As Cloud Engineer you’ll be part of an agile project team working with all the infrastructure pieces of a system. You will also oversee the migration process and design, maintain and monitor the new cloud platform, as well as configuring hybrid connectivity between
- site systems and the cloud environment. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical skills and leadership ability, with the communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other members of the IT team.

The job holder is a specialist in the design, deployment, and management of cloud services within the Microsoft Azure platform. They play a critical role in ensuring that cloud infrastructure and applications are optimised for performance, scalability, and security. By leveraging Azure's suite of tools and services, these engineers enable businesses to transform their operations and innovate within the cloud ecosystem.

National and international expected traveling time varies according to project/client and organizational needs: 0%-15% estimated.

Requirements

What you will be doing:

• Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on the Azure platform (with a clear exit strategy)
• Collaborating with development teams to integrate cloud services into software applications
• Optimising resource utilisation and implementing
  - saving measures
• Staying current with Azure services updates and industry best practices to recommend improvements to existing architectures
• Providing technical support and guidance to stakeholders on
  - related issues
• Developing and maintaining documentation for cloud architectures, procedures, and training materials
• Collaborating with
  - functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services with business processes
• Analysing existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements
• Developing infrastructure as code (Ia
  C) leveraging cloud native tooling to ensure automated and consistent platform deployments
• Developing and implementing automated policy driven data protection best practices to ensure cloud solutions are protected from data loss
• Supporting cloud adoption of applications as they are being modernized.
• Designing, migrating and operating on medium to large scale enterprise infrastructure, databases and application systems

Expertise we are looking for:

• Azure Cloud experience involving design, deployment, configuration and optimization of cloud platforms
• Managing and monitoring cloud infrastructures to ensure optimal performance and
  - efficiency using Dynatrace.
• Experience with automating cloud deployments and configuration management using Azure Dev
  Ops.
• Competence in a wide range of IT skills including networking, systems administration, data protection, information security and CI/CD tooling using Git
  Hub actions, Flux
  Cd, or Argo
  CD.
• Experience in Ia
  C development such as Terraform.
• Experience with Kubernetes, specifically AKS is a plus.
• Experience working within an Agile framework.
• Enthusiastic learner with the ability to teach and mentor teammates and cross functional partners
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail
• Flexible working approach and team player
