Evidence Generation Specialist - Study Delivery and Quality Management

Location: Lisbon, Portugal (hybrid)

Zeneca as an Evidence Generation Specialist - Process and Study Delivery. In this role, you are responsible for the study implementation of AZ sponsored studies, oversight of Externally Sponsored Studies (ESRs), and providing support to leadership for Evidence Generation quality activities and improvement initiatives. You collaborate closely with partner organisations to ensure the implementation of the project as planned. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership to ensure our pipeline becomes a reality and ensure our patients receive quality and safe medicines.

Accountabilities:

Your responsibilities include planning of RWE program, RWE implementation, RWE publication & communication, and Evidence Generation Process. You are accountable for project implementation, ensuring results meet the timelines, providing accurate projections, reports and updates, and ongoing risk assessments. You integrate QA principles into all aspects (data collection, analysis, reporting). Support the development of a comprehensive quality management plan outlining procedures, methodologies, and tools for ensuring quality. You are also responsible for problem escalation -- from detecting a problem, calling out to Evidence Generation Manager or Evidence Generation Head and implementing the decision.

Crucial Skills/Experience:

• Master´s degree required in relevant subject area (natural science)
• Shown experience in Real World Evidence, namely,
  - interventional studies implementation and monitoring.
• Demonstrated knowledge and clear understanding of Real World Evidence research being able to provide informed
  - based information.
• Experience of RWE Studies Management within a pharmaceutical company.
• Experience in Data validation, data cleaning, and ensuring data integrity within the EDC systems.
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
• Professional certification
• Consistent track record or certification in Value-based Healthcare & Outcomes Research concepts.
• Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills of leadership, critical thinking and effectively handle shifting priorities.
