Key Responsibilities and Authority

1. Work in close partnerships with Solution Architects, Product Managers, and Principal Engineers to understand business vision, strategy, and roadmaps and to then align roadmaps and delivery plans.
2. Responsible for analysis, designing, implementing, and integrating information systems to fit within existing systems infrastructure and security standards.
3. Identify the potential technology innovations and engage with different enterprise business leaders and units and attend to their computing needs and requirements in order to design solutions that achieve business goals while also working within existing and/or legacy systems.
4. Contribute and lead on ensuring Privacy, Security and AI by design.
5. Demonstrable knowledge of system administration and software development.
6. Provide expert guidance to the engineering teams and act as the TDA and visionary for Architecture.
7. Must analyze existing systems to ensure that these systems provide the necessary security, assuring these should meet the needs of the organization.
8. Guide in execution of Incident, Change, Release, Problem, Performance, and Availability Management.
9. Introduce alternative technologies to improve or enhance Convatec’s information systems to support organizational goals, making sure the requirements are then documented and communicated to enterprise senior management.
10. Evaluation of feasibility and business cases for implementation steps towards target architecture.
11. Ensure adherence to regulations and industry standards while maintaining alignment with regional regulations.
12. Specifying technologies, application, and infrastructure architecture considering reusability, standardization, and a cost focus.
13. Work with System Integrators and Software technology provider to understand technology & product roadmap.

Key Requirements

Outline the essential competencies and characteristics that candidates must demonstrate to contribute to our diverse, inclusive culture and succeed in the role. These may include:

1. 15 Plus years of technology Design and Implementation experience.
2. Enterprise / Solution Architecture Experience in ERP (SAP Preferable) / Commercial / MARTECH/ R&D Technologies.
3. Excellent understanding of TOGAF (or Industry recognized/aligned Enterprise Architecture framework).
4. Advanced stakeholder and supplier management skills and experience.
5. Strong and Clear Communicator.
6. Experience working in diverse, multinational teams.
7. Can lead and manage strategically important technology projects.
8. Knowledge of business ecosystems, software as a service (Saa
   S), infrastructure as a service (Iaa
   S), platform as a service (Paa
   S), SOA, APIs, open data, artificial intelligence (AI), internet of things (Io
   T) and data analytics.
9. Experience of working with an Enterprise Architecture Management tool (Lean
   IX).
