About the Role
We are reinforcing our development team and seeking skilled backend developers to join our
- growing organization. In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of our core ecommerce platform and its integrations. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills across the full stack with particular emphasis on Node
JS and Golang development, can handle multiple challenges and performs effectively in a
- skilled environment. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust,
- performance services with scalability at their core. Create and optimize Postgre
SQL, (and optionally also My
SQL) database queries and structures to support application functionality
Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and backend logic to connect our platform with
- party services and internal products
Collaborate with product owners and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
Troubleshoot, debug and optimize application code to ensure high performance and reliability
Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes
Experience developing unit tests
Requirements
Bs in Computer Science, Engineering, another science or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in a similar role. Proven experience in system development using
Strong competency in creating and querying APIs
Solid understanding of web application architecture and design patterns
Ability to work under pressure in a multitasking environment
Strong
- solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team setting
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience with ecommerce platforms and payment gateways
Understanding of web security best practices
