We are looking for an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to join our Research & Systems Team, be responsible for developing system applications and internal tools to support our processes.

What you'll be doing:

• Develop, integrate and test software and firmware systems;
• Help in the definition of requirements and the development of internal software solutions to support production processes;
• Contribute to the design of novel solutions that can be integrated into our products, including the prototyping of new modules;
• Debugging and optimization of hardware production systems;
• Writes
  - designed, efficient, and scalable code, and also participates in code reviews and contributes to the development of standards and best practices;
• Communicates with clients to gather requirements and provide technical support.

What you need to have:

• More than 3 years of experience with C/C++, Python and shell programming languages;
• Knowledge and experience in developing software/firmware for embedded systems;
• Good knowledge of Linux OS;
• Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills;
• Passion for developing novel and unique systems that have a direct impact in people’s lives;
• Natural leadership, winning personality and a drive to disrupt;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

What we would love to see:

• Experience with Zephyr RTOS;
• Experience with NRF52 So
  C;
• Experience with wireless technologies such as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Wi
  Fi;
• Experience with sensor fusion/inertial sensing.

Salary: €47, 877 - €66, 797 a year Base: €30, 627 - €48, 128 Variable: €2, 483 - €3, 902 Net equity value per year: €14, 767. These compensation bands are just the starting point. Once someone joins and proves they’re outlier talent, we adjust quickly to ensure their compensation aligns with their impact. Our job titles may span more than one career level. Actual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, location, market demand, and other factors. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary and any potential variable, bonus or sales incentives, and the Company’s estimation of the value of private company stock options, if applicable. The pay range is subject to change, future value of company stock options is not guaranteed, and compensation may be modified in the future.
