POSITION TITLE:

Embedded Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Layer 0

POSITION DESCRIPTION AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. The candidate will work in a
   - national cultural environment, part of a
   - functional Scrum team that delivers high quality Infinera advanced optical networks.
2. The QA Engineer will work in the Product RD lifecycle:
3. Reviewing Product Specifications
4. Developing Test Plans, creating HW
   - based test scenarios
5. Executing test specifications and documenting results
6. Test automation initiatives based in Python

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Profile:

1. MSc / BS degrees in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Physics or related field
2. Fluent in English, spoken and written
3. ISTQB certification is valuable

Technical skills:

1. DWDM/OTN/IP/Packet technologies and fundamentals of Optical Transmission
2. Previous experience in SW testing, Test Automation or Telecom is highly valued

Personal Attributes:

1. Responsible and accountable
2. Good communication skills including ability to share knowledge
3. Strong troubleshooting and
   - solving abilities
