Your contribution to something big:

As an Embedded Developer for ctrl
X AUTOMATION, you’ll collaborate with an international team across Portugal and Germany to develop, validate, and enhance
- critical systems that power automation solutions.

Key areas of responsibility:

1. Drive the design and development of
   - critical solutions within the ctrl
   X AUTOMATION architecture.
2. Create and enhance firmware and ctrl
   X AUTOMATION Apps leveraging Linux systems.
3. Perform rigorous validation of functional safety protocols to ensure
   - tier quality.
4. Innovate and execute thorough test cases to safeguard system reliability.
5. Analyze and resolve issues, ensuring system integrity and performance.

What we are looking for:

1. Knowledge of
   - time control systems and embedded development.
2. Embedded programming experience (2-3 years) and proficiency in high level programming languages like C/C++.
3. Strong communication skills in English (speaking, listening, reading, writing).

What distinguishes you:

1. Education: Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field;
2. Experience
   • Prior experience in
     - end development (e. g. , Angular).
   • Familiarity with container technologies for Linux (e. g. , Snap, Docker).
   • Knowledge of industrial automation technology, including field buses (e. g. , Ether
     CAT, PROFINET).
   • Experience with functional safety standards (e. g. , EN 61508, EN 13849, EN 62061).
3. Know-how: Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative software development;
4. Languages: English proficiency (essential);
5. Working Style and Methods: Strong
   - solving skills and attention to detail;
6. Personality: Collaborative approach with a global team perspective.
