You as Electrical Solution Expert Engineer will be responsible for the engineering design of Siemens Energy projects, providing our customers with the most sophisticated and efficient technological solutions and services.

How You’ll Make an Impact

1. Design and engineering of electrical projects down to the detail to satisfy the specified requirements of the customer.
2. Define the products, components, and systems to be used and their specifications.
3. Configure a solution according to the requirements.
4. Develop detailed integrated solutions to ensure the correct interface of the individual elements as a functioning unit.
5. Responsible for completing the developed solution with the required functionality.
6. Develop the basic and detail design and build project user documentation (Single Line Diagrams, Layouts, calculations, Wiring diagrams, Parts List) required to develop and implement the project.
7. Follow, support, and/or coordinate project activities (procurement, manufacturing, FAT, logistics, installation, commissioning).
8. Identify risks and opportunities and manage them.
9. Work alongside the Technical and Project team.
10. Provide electrical project support and services from their expertise throughout the different development phases.

What You Bring

1. Degree or Integrated Master in Electrical Engineering or similar.
2. Minimum 7/8 years of proven experience in a similar position.
3. Passionate about energy development.
4. Willingness to travel in and out of the country.
5. Availability for
   - term site activities.
6. Good interpersonal skills. Fluent in English (required).
7. Team player, focused on details and organized.
8. Collaborating skills to reach a global optimum.
9. Background and expertise in electrical design.
10. Profound technical knowledge in electrical systems, general Electrical Balance of Plant (EBo
    P), and related equipment.
11. Preference for knowledge/experience in communication protocols, network communications, and protections.
12. Preference for knowledge and experience in CAD and EPLAN (or similar).
13. Preference for knowledge/experience in electrical simulation and engineering tools and software (EPLAN, Simaris, PSS Sincal, ETAP).
14. Preference for experience and good understanding of main applicable LV, MV, HV electrical standards, guidelines, and grid codes.
