Position: Electrical Engineer

Our Center of Expertise is looking for an Electrical Engineer who will have the following responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support in different stages of the project (development, commercial, and construction phases).
2. Analyze received technical information for a specific project and evaluate its impact on the electrical design of the project.
3. Optimize solutions, considering both technical and economic perspectives.
4. Conduct Energy Yield Assessments using simulation software such as PVSyst.
5. Analyze and compare meteorological data, estimated gross production, and estimated net production for the required time frame (maximum PPA).
6. Execute electrical diagrams (Single Line Diagrams – SLD).
7. Prepare bill of quantities (on the Electrical side).
8. Execute technical documents (Written Parts, Drawings, O&M Dossier).
9. Perform Technical Descriptions, Technical Calculations, Technical Specifications, and Drawings for project licensing, EPC, and execution.
10. Provide technical support during construction.
11. Conduct technical assessments and support on Site Surveys.
12. Provide inputs for the execution of Preliminary Layouts.
13. Monitor all project electrical drawings and conduct final reviews.
14. Review and verify external service provider's design and calculations when subcontracted by Voltalia.
15. Conduct market analysis (on electrical side).
16. Contact suppliers for technical discussions of existing and/or alternative solutions.

Requirements:

1. Master’s degree or Degree in Electrical/Electrotechnical Engineering.
2. Specialization in Energy Systems (preferred).
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical projects.
4. Experience in Photovoltaic projects will be valued.
5. Proficient in MS Office, Auto
   CAD, PVsyst, and other Electrical Engineering software.
6. Proficient in English (French will be a plus).
7. Availability for national and international travel.
8. Strong analysis and interpretation abilities.
9. Excellent organizational skills.
