Our business includes Ostomy Care, Continence Care, Wound Care, Interventional Urology and Voice & Respiratory Care. We operate globally and our organization has about 14, 500 employees.

To be able to help more people, we are now opening a new production site in Felgueiras and therefore, we are looking for an HSE Engineer to join our team. This is your chance to lead initiatives that ensure a safe and sustainable work environment while promoting employee health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure a safe and sustainable work environment, complying with legal and internal standards.
2. Monitor and reduce the Lost Time Incident (LTI) rate.
3. Conduct audits, risk assessments, and approve equipment and process safety.
4. Develop and implement EHS training at all organizational levels.
5. Oversee emergency response plans, waste management, and environmental compliance.
6. Perform safety audits at supplier sites and assess machines before implementation.
7. Coordinate CAPA and Change Control System activity.

What we expect from you:

1. A passionate person about safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement, this is your chance to make an impact!
2. Degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related fields.
3. Experience in EHS, with strong knowledge of SO 14001 and ISO 45001.
4. Strong analytical, organizational, and
   - solving skills.
5. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
6. Willingness to travel for machine safety assessments at supplier sites.
7. ATEX knowledge.
