Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a Manage Services Engineer to join Devoteam Managed Services. We focus on developing solutions end to end within Cloud Providers and its technologies.
- Manage and maintain hybrid and
- cloud environments, ensuring infrastructure is consistently available and operational. - Perform routine activities, including security updates, patches, and backups, documenting all processes.
- Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot infrastructure issues and continuously improve the environment.
Operations Monitoring and Automation:
- Configure and manage monitoring solutions, such as AWS Cloud
Watch, Azure Monitor, or Google Cloud Monitoring, Grafana and Prometheus to identify and address performance and availability issues. - Automate operational tasks and workflows using tools like AWS Lambda, Azure Automation, or Python/Bash scripting to reduce manual interventions and increase efficiency.
- Respond proactively to alerts and incidents, conducting analyses to minimize recurrence.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement and manage security and compliance policies, including configuring access controls (IAM) and permissions to secure the
- cloud environment. - Monitor and respond to security events in
- time, ensuring best practices are followed and updated.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide 2nd-line technical support for incidents related to hybrid and
- cloud environments. - Work collaboratively with development, operations, and security teams to quickly resolve issues and minimize service impact.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and operational procedures to promote centralized, shared knowledge.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Technical Skills:
- Solid experience with
- platform cloud services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Proficiency in automation and scripting tools, like Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Bash.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Cloud
Watch, Azure Monitor, ELK Stack).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong
- solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with
- functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in cloud platforms, such as AWS Sys
Ops, Azure Associate, or Google Associate Cloud Engineer. - Experience in hybrid and
- cloud environments. - Knowledge of serverless architectures and microservices practices.
