Staycity are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. Staycity currently operates in excess of 3, 000 apartments across several major European cities including Birmingham, Dublin, Edinburgh, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Marseille, Paris, York and Lyon with many more exciting cities to follow. Staycity Group’s expansion is now rolling out under two brands – Staycity Aparthotels and our new premium brand Wilde Aparthotels by Staycity. Key responsibilities as our Maintenance Manager will include: - Maintain develop and exceed guest satisfaction whilst Initiating and maintaining rapport with customers - Assist with complaints were possible and resolve in conjunction with the Front Office/Operations Manager and /or General manager - Manages maintenance department resources and optimises the team’s work of by drawing up and coordinating schedules according to need - Supervises and takes part in preventive and curative maintenance of Wilde premises and equipment while promoting and contributing to setting up internal measures for the protection of the environment - Ensures the proper use of IPE by
- workers - Manages stocks and purchasing of equipment and supplies for the department - Assists the General Manager in drawing up budgets for maintenance and capital investment - Approves work being performed and ensures that costs are reasonable and in line with budgets - Is responsible for compliance with current safety procedures, and controlling the condition of the building, technical equipment and all safety and alarm systems in the residence - Ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported and reduced immediately -Maintaining contact and establishing agreements with external preventive maintenance companies. -Knowledge of all legal regarding systems and maintenance in Portugal Our ideal Maintenance Manager will have the following skills, knowledge and experience: - Attention to detail and ability to
- organise - Ability to manage teams - Ability to communicate with all members of the team and guests - Previous knowledge of safety, health and the environment in similar environment (3 years) - A basic knowledge of English Certification/Qualification in air/ electrical systems may be an advantage Hours of Work: It is anticipated that the successful candidate will be required to work shifts covering weekends and if and when necessary cover night shifts.
