Ensure financial transparency and support the development of your team
As the Director, Head of Operations Controlling, you will be responsible for ensuring financial transparency and optimizing operational performance across multiple industrial sites in Europe. You will manage a team of 4 finance managers (with P&L responsibility), manage financial reporting, and support
- reduction initiatives.
Your responsibility will be to:
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial reports for multiple manufacturing sites
- Monitor operational performance and ensure financial targets are met
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes for the manufacturing sites
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies
- Identify and implement
- reduction initiatives across the sites - Manage initiatives to streamline processes, enhance operational control systems, and implement best practices in financial reporting and analysis
This position can be fully remote, and be located in Denmark, Poland, Sweden, Czech Republic, Lithuania or Portugal. Due to the amount of travel in this position, it is ideal to live close to an international airport.
Experienced Financial Leader With An Engaged Approach
You have experience as a manager and leader, and you coach, support and develop your team for better results. You are a strategic thinker with analytical skills, structured approach and the ability to make
- driven decisions. You also have good communication and interpersonal skills and engage effectively with senior leadership, functional peers and operational teams.
You also have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in controlling or finance
- Experience from an industrial or manufacturing environment is beneficial
- Several years of managerial experience and experience managing
- functional projects - Solid knowledge of cost accounting and financial analysis
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e. g. , SAP) and financial modeling tools
- Fluency in English
