Job Description:

The Position

The Director of Organon functional Data & Analytics Business Technology (BT) oversees the
- related initiatives, manages efficient analytics solution delivery, and ensures the effective preparation of A. I. -ready data products for the Manufacturing, Research & Development, and Corporate functional areas within Organon. This position involves delivering valuable business outcomes by collaborating with
- functional teams, implementing data governance and architecture practices, and promoting
- driven
- making. This position also involves providing leadership and oversight to Data & Analytics Development Operations (Dev
Ops) services.

The Organon Data and Analytics organization is transforming the availability and consumption of data to enable artificial intelligence and
- driven insights for internal and external stakeholders. We are seeking an energetic,
- thinking leader that will continue to develop our
- related competency areas and solutions that support founders across our functional areas. More specifically, the leader will have the following primary responsibilities:

Responsibilities

1. Shape the vision and drive the agenda for a modern, AI-ready data and analytics capability across Organon’s
   - Commercial functions. Provide guidance and support to the company on data & analytics principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs to valuable data & analytics products. Define or harmonize strategies and roadmaps for the organization in alignment with desired business outcomes and regulatory requirements.
3. Provide overall leadership and fulfill
   -
   - day management responsibilities for the functional data & analytics technology squads, fostering a
   - collaborative,
   - centric, and innovative work environment. Ensure appropriate hiring, training, coaching, and evaluation of staff performance.
4. Evaluate and select external vendors for
   - related services.
5. Drive delivery of data and analytics products through aligned squads and service factories (chapters).
6. Drive optimal business value realization by leveraging persistent and variable teams tied to squads.
7. Drive establishing and maturing
   - functional Dev
   Ops.
8. Implement Organon Data & Analytics data architecture and data governance policies, procedures, guidelines, and templates, and ensure their adherence and consistency.
9. Explore opportunities within the functions to imagine and deliver
   - state capabilities (e. g. AI-augmented analytics, citizen data scientists, data literacy programs).
10. Oversee Organon functional Data & Analytics portfolio of solutions, activities, and deliverables, and ensure their completion, leveraging the Scaled Agile / Program Increment Planning framework.
11. Manage all solution delivery and licensing financials and
    - oriented business cases.

Required Education, Experience and Skills

1. B. A. /B. S. degree in Computer Information Sciences, Business Management, or related field; Advanced degree is preferred.
2. At least Ten years relevant experience in IT leadership position.
3. Demonstrated experience in delivering large,
   - intensive technology solutions within a pharmaceutical company, including data integration, master data management, data harmonization, and enabling broader data access to support
   - service analytics.
4. Ability to develop, articulate, and build support around a
   - term strategy and implement incremental milestones in support of that strategy.
5. Direct experience with
   - scale IT systems development, portfolio and program management, and financial management is essential.
6. Demonstrated experience working with and deploying technology capabilities globally.
7. Demonstrated leadership in achieving shared objectives in a matrix organization, managing
   - divisional initiatives, and
   - functional teams in an extremely dynamic environment.
8. Vendor management experience is required.
