Direct Sales, Partnerships & Travel Specialist

We are looking for a passionate and driven sales professional to join our team and help us grow our direct bookings, expand our partnerships, and curate unforgettable travel experiences.
What the Role Is
As a Direct Sales, Partnerships & Travel Specialist, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through direct sales channels and building strategic partnerships with travel agencies, tour operators, and corporate clients.
This role is perfect for someone who understands the hospitality and travel industry, thrives in a dynamic sales environment, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. Reporting to the General Manager, you will implement sales strategies for Selina Lisbon and Selina Ericeira, maximizing revenue across Accommodation, F&B, Experiences, and Wellness.
What You Will Be Doing
- Increase direct bookings by developing and executing B2C sales strategies.
- Build and manage partnerships with travel agencies, tour operators, corporate clients, and influencers to drive guest acquisition.
- Upsell and
- sell services, including room upgrades, experiences, F&B packages, and special events. - Create and promote
- made packages for local events, special occasions, and Selina-exclusive experiences. - Develop
- driven sales initiatives, engaging with local and international travelers. - Optimize sales performance through CRM tools, data analysis, and targeted promotions.
- Represent Selina at industry events, networking functions, and travel fairs to drive awareness and bookings.
- Monitor competitor activity and local market trends to refine pricing, positioning, and sales strategies.
- Provide regular sales reports to the General Manager, tracking revenue performance and identifying growth opportunities.
What You Need for the Role
- 2-4 years of experience in sales, hospitality, or travel industry (hotel sales or travel agency background preferred).
- Strong networking and partnership development skills in the travel and hospitality sector.
- Proven ability to drive direct bookings and increase guest spend.
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills (both verbal and written).
- Fluency in English and Portuguese (additional languages are a plus).
- Knowledge of hotel revenue management & direct sales strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, digital booking platforms, and sales reporting systems.
- Passion for hospitality, travel, and curating unforgettable guest experiences.
- Self-motivated,
- driven, and able to work independently while collaborating with teams.
