The Opportunity:

The Diagnostic Solutions Expert (DSE) Oncology will contribute to the development and expansion of the in vitro diagnostics area, particularly to the Oncology area related with Pathology Lab and Sequencing Solutions, promoting Roche’s portfolio amongst its clients and partners. Your main responsibilities are, but not limited to:

1. Identify opportunities and promote Roche’s solutions for Anatomo-Phatology and Sequencing (mainly Oncology).
2. In the labs within the assigned territory (from Leiria to Algarve), articulate a narrative to demonstrate the operational and clinical value of Roche’s solutions, seeking to
   - create with customers.
3. Install with high technical and scientific ability the required applications and ensure appropriate training all along the lifecycle of the installed solutions.
4. Enhance customer experience to foster Roche’s position in the market by organically expanding our footprint in close collaboration with other colleagues in the organisation.
5. Build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in areas such as oncology, pathology and sequencing to strengthen the knowledge of Roche Solutions.

Who you are:

1. Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences or Engineering (Master’s degree or Ph
   D preferred).
2. Experience in Anatomo-Pathology laboratories, preferably with exposure to Digital Pathology. Familiarity with Next-Generation Sequencing workflows and applications is advantageous.
3. Strong customer orientation and focus on customer experience.
4. Expertise in sales and
   - sales support, in areas where operational excellence is critical to ensure not only a smooth customer experience but also the functioning of the operation itself on the long run.
5. Strong collaborative mindset and excellent interpersonal skills that allow the development of
   - term and trustful relationships.
6. Ability to use analytical tools to autonomously extract and interpret data.
7. Familiarity with the concept of “digital health”.
8. Proficient in both Portuguese and English communication, with ease in delivering presentations to diverse audiences with confidence.

Note: position based in Lisbon, covering the South territory - from Leiria to Algarve.
