Randstad is recruiting a Dev
Ops Engineer, for direct integration in a company, with offices located in the north of Aveiro.

Hybrid work (2 days
- site and 3 days remote / week).

Responsibilities:

• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure as code.
• Building and setting up cloud network infrastructure (private links, private networks, VPNs etc. ).
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.

Build creation for CI/CD pipelines

• Some experience with definition of pipelines and triggering them.
• Experience with Azure Dev
  Ops pipelines or Git
  Hub Actions.
• Experience with Bicep templates and/or Pulumi.

Monitoring of cloud services

• Experience with setting up HTTP heath status checks
• Somebody who can read security advisories and act accordingly.
• Knowledge about triggering alerts based on logs and metrics.
• Assist in case of incidents by screening logs and assessing other health indicators.
• Experience with Azure tools such as App
  Insights, Azure Security Center and Kusto.

Deployment

• Basic knowledge about Kubernetes deployments.
• Experience with deploying Java web services.
• Knowledge about ensuring Docker images and their deployment to Kubernetes are securely done is a requirement.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service.

Development

• Basic knowledge in shell scripting for Linux systems.
• Experience with scripting in Type
  Script.
• Knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
