Position Overview

As the Developer Relations Lead, you will connect with, inspire, and educate developers willing to build on the Gen
Layer platform. Your main goal will be to create, nurture and expand a network of enthusiastic developers with a passion for building solutions leveraging the potential of Gen
Layer. This role includes developing and executing strategies to grow our developer community, overseeing the development of technical educational materials, managing the developer journey, hosting external events including hackathons, forging external partnerships, and enhancing communication channels and capturing developer insights.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own the developer journey from website to documentation to tools and building.
2. Organize and lead external hackathons and developer meetups.
3. Enhance and manage developer communication channels.
4. Create and lead a global team of ambassadors, developer advocates, and technical educators.
5. Develop and execute strategies to increase developer engagement with the Gen
   Layer platform.
6. Capture, analyze, and share relevant developer insights.

Requirements

1. 3+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Technical Community Management, or similar roles.
2. Technical proficiency in programming languages, blockchain technology, and crypto.
3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Analytical and
   - driven approach to community building.
5. Proven ability to handle complex community situations with empathy and tact.
6. Obsessed with delivering the best developer user experience.
7. Proactive,
   - starter who is comfortable with the autonomy of working in a remote setting.
8. Strong curiosity and passion for AI, crypto, and web3-specific topics.
9. Track record in developing educational materials for technical audiences.
10. Robust personal network of developer communities including at universities and academic institutions.
