General Description
As a Senior Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in our design and drafting team, focusing on the 3D modeling and 2D drafting of innovative floating platforms and their outfitting and equipment. Your expertise will directly support the engineering team in developing accurate,
- quality deliverables for the Wind
Float platform and associated systems.
Working at the forefront of floating wind energy, you will contribute to groundbreaking sustainable offshore solutions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Additionally, you will lead design and drafting efforts on a project basis, serving as the key liaison between Project Managers/Engineers, internal team members, and external contractors.

Main Accountabilities
- Developing 3D Models: Use your expertise in Solid
Works to create detailed and accurate 3D models of the Wind
Float platforms and their subsystems, ensuring they meet project specifications and constraints. - Creating Precise 2D Drawings: Produce
- quality 2D drawings based on 3D models using Solid
Works and Auto
CAD. These will include mechanical and schematic drawings critical for successful project execution. - Promoting Design Standards: Lead the development and implementation of design and drafting standards to ensure consistency, efficiency, and
- quality output across the team. - Quality Control: Ensure all models and drawings comply with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and project timelines.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to other designers and engineers, fostering professional growth and strengthening team capabilities.
- Supervising Contractors: Oversee the work of external contractors on a project basis, ensuring alignment with project requirements, quality standards, and effective communication with internal teams.
- Collaboration: Work closely with global performance, structures, marine systems, and other engineering disciplines to address
- discipline design challenges and propose design solutions.
Skills & Competencies
- Design Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience in design and drafting for
- FEED/FEED/Detailed Design. - 3D Modeling Expertise: At least 7 years of experience in Solid
Works, including large assembly best practices. - 2D Drafting Proficiency: Advanced skills in Auto
CAD for creating precise mechanical and schematic drawings. - File Management: Experience organizing 3D part and assembly files in the Solid
Works PDM Vault. - Regulatory Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO, DNV, and API is a strong advantage.
- Language Skills: English proficiency (C1 level) is mandatory for both written and spoken communication. Additional language skills (French, Portuguese, Japanese) are considered an advantage.
- Tech-Savviness: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently in a multicultural,
- time zone environment. - Attention to Detail: Systematic and
- oriented approach to work.
Other Requirements
- Industry Expertise: Experience in the Naval Architecture/Offshore Engineering industry, particularly in floating wind or offshore oil and gas projects, is highly beneficial.
- Authorization: Authorization to work in the location you are applying for is required.
