Job Description

Team presentation and main goal:

As part of the Finance Direction, you will integrate the Financial Data Integrity department (FDI) which oversees the labelling of financial data for CIB activities of Natixis (balance sheet and
- balance sheet). This department counts about 100 people with a target to be bilocated (40 in Porto and 60 in Paris). You will join a team of 6 people in Porto.

As a Senior Financial Data Quality Analyst, of a major French banking institution with international dimension, you will:

• Support Data Management initiative for internal & regulatory requirement toward improvement of the quality of reports produced by Natixis CIB;
• Participate in the Data monitoring for CIB activities (Financing, Global market, etc. )

You will be in contact with the other teams of FDI (specifically those which oversee Data Sourcing and Data Quality controls), the internal Finance partners and Finance IT teams.

Perimeters:

As a Senior Financial Data Quality Analyst, your main responsibilities will be:

• Implement Data Quality Indicators (DQI) capitalizing with Data Sourcing controls;
• Collaborate on Control Factory for the Material Critical Data Elements (CDE) thru Implementation of Controls based on BCBS Data Quality Indicators (DQI);
• Build and maintain a Power BI Dashboard to produce performance indicators to monitor the internal BCBS framework compliance as well as the performance of the entire Finance Data Integrity organization.

As part of the DDO - Data Management Team, you will be engaged to:

• Guarantee compliance with BCBS 239 Data framework (Operational deployment, Policies and Procedures, Projects Labelling, etc. ) thru monitoring Governance on essential reports, essentials indicators and Critical Data Elements (CDE);
• Manage and monitor the sustainable remediation plans for Data Anomalies and Discrepancies;
• Support Data Governance framework thru the collection of local needs from Data Owner and Data Quality Manager, and support projects regarding Data in link with chains framework (Financing, Global Markets, Trade and Cash);
• Centralize, manage and cartography of the Data Anomalies and monitor them;
• Prioritize
  - term actions to improve Data Quality in the systems;
• Contribute to the work on the Data Catalogue and Data Glossary (Zeenea) with Data Governance, Critical Data Elements (CDE), Golden Sources, etc. ;
• Build Flowchart, macro and micro lineage (functional & technical) for Regulatory requirements.

• You will be part of a
  - localised team with a local manager and a functional manager Paris based, with regular interactions Paris team.
• The ability to develop a network within the various teams of the Natixis ecosystem, and an aptitude for collaborative and group work are key factors of success in this position.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in the following skills:

Hard Skills:

• Masters degree in Finance, Math, Data Science or Engineering;
• Successful experience as a Data Analyst;
• Knowledge of Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality and Project Management;
• Modelling programming: Advanced SQL, Python, Data
  Viz tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, Quicksight, Google Analytics, etc. . . );
• Very good skills in pack Office: Excel, VBA;
• Notions of Regulatory ECB Reporting’s (FINREP, COREP, LCR, …), BCBS 239, Bank Accounting, IFRS Accounting Standards (desirable);
• Previous professional experience in the banking sector (desirable);
• Knowledge of banking environment and products (desirable);
• Fluent in English (mandatory);
• Knowledge of French is a plus.
