We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator SQL Server for this project!

What are we looking for?

Services:

Database Operations (FOCUS, SQL Server)
General database services on productive systems including the following:

Daily global operation meeting;
Responding to incidents, changes and requests within defined SLA;
Monitoring backups and resolving issues;
Monitoring through tools and/or custom scripts;
General technical troubleshooting and resolution of issues;
Root cause analysis for incidents and proposing preventive measures;
Migration / upgrade / copy databases;
Supervision of automated patching;
Consulting, planning and executing activities with customers;
Providing 24x7 support and resolving upcoming issues independently;
Supporting DR tests;
Communication of recognized risks, issues and areas for improvement.

Engineering topics:

Contributing to the development and elaboration of AXA IT standards;
Setting and maintaining documentation;
Automation, industrialization, and improvement of the functioning of the Database infrastructure (scripting (T-SQL, Power
Shell) and Puppet);
Developing new services;
Security and Audit topics;
Evaluation of new features and DB related products;
Fixing issues, delivering tasks requested;
Recording actions taken in the ticketing tool (Service
Now);
Root cause analysis;
Documentation of planned activities.

Expertise:

Must have expertise:

SQL Server (2008 to 2022): Service should demonstrate senior expertise in database administration in complex international environments.
Expertise with running SQL Server in Public Cloud: AWS, Azure.

Nice to have expertise:

Familiarity with Service
Now;
Additional expertise in administration of Oracle, Mongo
DB, Couchbase, Postgre
SQL, Db2;
Puppet;
Expertise in change management (ITIL methodology);
International environment.
