We seek a Datacenter Operations and Maintenance Management Specialist. to strengthen our Application Infrastructure team.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the operation of data centers, ensuring efficient and continuous functionality.
- Operate infrastructure networks in IT technical rooms, including
- voltage electrical panels, UPS systems, generators, chillers, water circulation pumps, fans, and air handling units. - Coordinate and resolve incidents affecting the stability and functionality of IT technical rooms (Data Processing Centers) across various locations, leading
- site incident operations. - Plan, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance plans for infrastructures.
- Manage and supervise support contracts, ensuring compliance with established standards and operational needs.
- Conduct internal processes, including drafting technical specifications, supporting procurement processes, and coordinating purchase executions.
- Manage and execute continuous improvement projects, implement innovative technological solutions, address latent issues, and drive the evolution of existing infrastructures.
We are looking for people with the skills and experience described below, but especially those interested in the technological field and motivated to take on the challenge of being part of a highly specialized team and serving the education and research community, contributing to developing quality and innovative services.
Main requirements
Electrical Engineering:
- Experience in
- voltage systems, focusing on
- phase distribution networks (400V). - Knowledge of backup systems, including UPS and generators.
- Familiarity with
- voltage systems.
Cooling Systems:
- Proficiency in chilled water solutions, direct expansion systems, free cooling, and ventilation.
Centralized Technical Management:
- Experience with centralized technical management systems, preferably based on
- source software solutions.
Security Networks:
- Knowledge of early fire detection systems, fire suppression, access control, and intrusion systems.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Special Requirements
- Availability for 100%
- site work. - Driver’s license for light vehicles.
- Flexibility for frequent travel.
- Proven ability to coordinate projects and teams, ensuring effective communication internally and with external stakeholders.
- Capability to handle unforeseen situations and contingencies efficiently.
- Availability to coordinate incidents outside regular working hours.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles.

This position is under the PRR ("Recovery and Resilience Plan") and has a defined duration until March 2026.
