Position: DBALocation: Portugal (hybrid/remote)What You’ll Do:As a Generalist DBA, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and management of multiple database environments. You will work closely with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure high availability, data integrity, and performance across the organization’s databases. What We’re Looking For:3+ years of experience with proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role with expertise in both SQL and No
SQL databases. Hands-on experience with database platforms such as My
SQL, Postgre
SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Mongo
DB, Oracle, or others. Strong knowledge of database performance tuning, backup strategies, and disaster recovery procedures. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud database services (RDS, Cosmos
DB, etc. ). Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts
Familiarity with automation and scripting tools: Bash, Power
Shell, Python;Experience using monitoring and performance tools such as: Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, New Relic and/or Solar
Winds;Familiarity with version control systems such as Git;Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
