Project

We are looking for a professional to take on a new project for one of our clients as a Data Transformation Specialist, in Lisbon, with a hybrid model.

Role

1. Understand business needs and collaborate with stakeholders to define relevant metrics and KPIs;
2. Design and build effective data models, optimized for performance, including creating relationships and hierarchies between tables;
3. Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to cleanse, transform and load data from multiple sources;
4. Use
   - code tools (preferably Python) to transform and manipulate data;
5. Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases;
6. Create interactive visualizations and dashboards in Power BI, using advanced features such as Drill-through, Slicers and Bookmarks;
7. Ensure data integrity, quality and accuracy throughout the ETL process;
8. Implement data quality control and validation mechanisms, ensuring compliance with best practices.

We are looking for

1. Practical experience with data transformation tools, preferably Python;
2. Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases, such as SQL Server, Oracle, My
   SQL. Experience with Dremio is highly valued;
3. Familiarity with developing reports and dashboards in Power BI;
4. Experience in data modeling, including creating relationships and hierarchies;
5. Knowledge of ETL processes and handling large volumes of data;
6. Ability to optimize data models and queries to improve performance.
