Are you enthusiastic about gathering, organizing, and handling the challenges of structuring vast amounts of data?

We are seeking a Data Solutions Specialist to join our dynamic Data Lab team. This role is pivotal for designing and implementing data models and solutions tailored to meet the needs of our Consumer Business Unit. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between the Data Lab and the Business Partner Data in the Consumer Business Unit, ensuring smooth communication and effective project delivery.

Your main responsibilities and duties

• Collaborate with the Business Partner Data in the Consumer Business Team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, models, and architectures to support consumer data initiatives.
• Implement and optimize ETL processes to ensure efficient data flow and integration from various data sources.
• Work closely with senior Data Engineers and Data Analysts in Tamedia’s Data Lab across Portugal and Switzerland to ensure data accuracy and availability for analysis and reporting.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, models, and systems.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues with data pipelines and systems.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within data operations.
• Communicate effectively with business stakeholders to provide updates, insights, and recommendations based on data analyses.

Your qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in technology, economics, statistics, or equivalent or a related field.
• Proven experience in data modeling, integration, and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
• Experience with
  - based data platforms (e. g. , AWS, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e. g. , Big
  Query, dbt, Redshift).
• Strong
  - solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and
  - technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with media industry data and consumer analytics is a plus.
• Fluency in English.
