Position: Data Solution Architect – Snowflake

Location: Full onsite from Germany, Spain, or Portugal

Language: Fluent in English (C1 minimum); German (B2) is a plus

Type: Full-time

Note: Candidates must be based in the European Union

We are looking for someone who can provide guidance and solutions for the architecture and effectively communicate these concepts while having the drive to work
- on with the tools and share knowledge within the internal workforce.

Requirements:

1. 8 years of experience working with Snowflake, including
   - on experience in implementing and managing Snowflake data platforms.
2. Data Modeling and Architecture: Experience in designing and optimizing data models and architectures, including the application of best practices and tools such as dbt.
3. SQL proficiency: In-depth knowledge of SQL, the primary language for queries and data management in Snowflake.
4. Data Integration: Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration tools.
5. Training and knowledge transfer: Ability to explain complex technical concepts in an understandable way and provide training to existing staff.
6. Project management: Experience in planning and overseeing the transition to the new architecture.
7. Security and governance knowledge: Familiarity with data governance and security practices to ensure data is managed securely and compliantly.

Nice to have:

1. Experience with BI tools: Knowledge of integrating and utilizing BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for
   - specific analytics.
2. Knowledge of data science and machine learning: Experience with tools that can be integrated with Snowflake, such as Data
   Robot or Amazon Sage
   Maker.
3. Cloud computing experience: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as Snowflake runs on these platforms.
4. Automation and Scripting: Knowledge of automation and scripting (e. g. , Python) to automate repetitive tasks and increase efficiency.
5. Experience with data governance tools: Familiarity with tools such as Zeenea for metadata management and data governance.
