We are currently looking for Data Science Engineer.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's/Master´s degree in relevant field, PHD preferred
2. Minimum 3 years of experience

Solid knowledge on:

1. Design and implement Machine Learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems
2. Machine learning packages like
   - learn, Tensor
   Flow etc.
3. Working with large datasets to derive actionable insights
4. Languages like Python or R
5. SQL
6. Cloud based AI/ML and data analytics tools such as AWS, GCP, Azure
7. Data visualization using tools like Tableau or Power
   BI

Other key responsibilities:

1. Lead data science projects from conception to execution
2. Interpersonal communication and storytelling
3. Collaborate with
   - functioning teams
4. Mentor and coach junior team members
5. Stay updated on latest data science developments
6. Drive innovation in data science processes
7. Ability to communicate complex ideas and insights effectively to both technical and
   - technical stakeholders
8. Awareness of ethical considerations in data science, including privacy, bias and fairness

Desirable experience:

1. End-to-end Machine Learning Lifecycle (including model deployment)
2. Recommendation Systems / Time series and forecasting analysis / Clustering / Language models / Computer Vision
3. Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, etc.
4. Familiarity with Dev
   Ops principles
5. Good Domain Knowledge, enabling better understanding of data and business needs

Language requirement: English B2

Location will be Lisbon, Braga or Coimbra and the working model will be hybrid. Candidates must be living in Portugal.
