About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and
- oriented Data Product Owner to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the champion for our data products, translating business needs into actionable data strategies and overseeing the development and implementation of those strategies. You will bridge the gap between business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineers, ensuring that our data products deliver real value to the organization.

Responsibilities

1. Partner with business stakeholders to identify key challenges and opportunities where data can provide solutions.
2. Develop a clear vision and roadmap for data products, aligned with overall business objectives.
3. Translate business needs into user stories and product requirements for the data science and engineering teams.
4. Prioritize the product backlog and manage the development lifecycle of data products.
5. Work closely with data scientists and engineers to ensure the technical feasibility of product ideas.
6. Champion data quality and ensure data products adhere to data governance standards.
7. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of data products.
8. Analyze usage data and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and iterate on data products.
9. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, keeping them informed of progress and driving adoption of data products.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, data science, computer science) or equivalent experience.
2. Extensive experience in product management, data analysis, or a related field.
3. Strong understanding of the data lifecycle and data governance principles.
4. Experience working with Agile methodologies.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
6. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for
   - technical audiences.
7. Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage projects effectively.
8. Proficiency in data visualization tools is a plus.
9. Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, or other data management technologies (a plus).
