Data Governance and Quality Analyst
The Data Governance and Quality Analyst is responsible for safeguarding the integrity of the data, ensuring its accuracy and completeness for reliable insight/analytics and informed business decisioning. Responsible and Accountable for:Data Quality and Compliance: Monitor and enforce adherence to data quality standards across information flows and data stores. Issue Identification and Resolution: Detect, analyze, and escalate data quality issues, recommending system enhancements to improve data accuracy. Data Improvement and Reporting: Measure, report, and provide insights on data quality improvements, including progress updates and commentary. Collaboration with Data Teams: Partner with data engineers, product managers, data owners, data architectures and SME's to provide consultation on Data Management services. Data Governance Support: Support the Data Governance framework, including managing metadata, data standards, data policies, business glossaries, and reference data. Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate remediation efforts and provide status updates to stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of data quality issues. Process Optimization: Develop and implement processes to support data standards, control frameworks, and the business glossary. Data Profiling: Conduct data profiling tasks to understand and improve the relationships between data elements. Skills:Minimum 2 years of experience as Data Quality and/or Governance Analyst
Experience in the design, implementation, monitoring & maintenance of data quality controls. Worked with Cloud Service Platforms: Preferably GCP, including Big Query, Looker, Dataplex
Comfortable with interrogating/joining data, familiar with SQLExperience with ERP tools, preferably SAP, Netsuite. Experience in ensuring data quality in ERP migration projects. . Able to document business data challenges, investigate options and implement solutions. Ability to promote best practice approach to data quality throughout the organization. Contributed to or supported the development of Data Governance programs. Experience with BI and data visualization tools (e. g. , Looker, Tableau, etc. ) is preferred. You have skills in programming languages, preferably Python. You have good analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a
- paced environment. Support the creation and implementation of processes and procedures to support data standards and control frameworks. Experience with Master Data Management practices is a plus. You are enthusiastic, with a positive attitude and a passion for data. Can take a complex scenario and play back/land message clearly with varying audiences. Be comfortable working towards both longer term vision, but also
