We are looking for an Data Engineer!
Responsabilities:
- Building processes for extraction, transformation and loading throughout the data lifecycle.
- Building dashboards using set analysis to give them more flexibility.
- Monitoring and resolving tickets on the technologies in question.
- Leverage large volumes of data from internal sources.
- Develop, maintain, and support data pipelines.
- Understand and be the point of contact for the business and assess its needs.
- Ensure architecture meets business requirements.
- Recommend ways to efficiently provide quality data and added value.
- Communicate technical information to
- technical stakeholders, including data analysts, product managers, and business leaders. - Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering
- quality results.
Requirements:
- Academic background in Engineering, Economics, Computing, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in data architecture.
- Availability to work in the hybrid model or in person in the Lisbon or Porto office (First 1/2 months 100% in the office).
- Professional experience in Qlik
Sense and Qlik NPrinting. - Professional experience in any data visualization tool such as Tableau or Power BI and in data analysis with programming.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Ability to analyze, synthetize and simplify.
- Knowledge of descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing is a plus, in Big Data technology such as Pyspark, Presto and Airflow is a plus and of Power Query and DAX is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with
- functional teams. - Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Be driven, enthusiastic and dynamic in search of improving processes, controls & procedure.
- Be
- active, enthusiastic, and able to work well in a team. - Good level of English.
