We are looking for a Data Engineer!

Responsibilities:

• Leverage large volumes of data from internal sources.
• Develop, maintain, and support data pipelines.
• Understand and be the point of contact for the business and assess its needs.
• Ensure architecture meets business requirements.
• Recommend ways to efficiently provide quality data and added value.
• Communicate technical information to
  - technical stakeholders, including data analysts, product managers, and business leaders.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering
  - quality results.

Requirements:

• Academic background in Engineering, Economics, Computing, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in data architecture.
• Availability to work in the hybrid model or in person in the Lisbon or Porto office (First 1/2 months 100% in the office).
• Professional experience in any data visualization tool such as Tableau or Power BI and in data analysis with programming, preferably Python (Pandas).
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Ability to analyze, synthesize and simplify.
• Knowledge of descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing is a plus, in Big Data technology such as Pyspark, Presto and Airflow is a plus and of Power Query and DAX is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with
  - functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Be driven, enthusiastic and dynamic in search of improving processes, controls & procedures.
• Be
  - active, enthusiastic, and able to work well in a team.
• Good level of English.
