We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. This is an opportunity to work on

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using SQL and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement and optimise data processing workflows on Azure Synapse Analytics to support efficient data storage, querying, and analysis.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data engineering, and proactively recommend new technologies and methodologies to enhance our data infrastructure.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of our data systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Maths, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of
  - on experience in data engineering, with expertise in SQL.
• Strong proficiency in Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Experience with Azure Dev
  Ops for CI/CD pipelines and version control is a plus.
• Knowledge of Azure Fabric is a plus.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex data solutions that meet business requirements.
• Excellent
  - solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
