Your mission will be…
With an expert level understanding of data infrastructure, analytics frameworks and data management, you will spearhead initiatives that identify pivotal use cases and business opportunities within the logistics and procurement domains. Partner with business stakeholders and lead projects of teams of engineers, architects and data experts to define and execute a strategic data journey, ensuring real value creation. You will utilize your knowledge in design, architecture, and data management to drive projects from conception to completion. Strong communication, marketing and stakeholder management skills are essential to navigate successfully through the Siemens’ Logistics and procurement data ecosystem.
You use your data, business and domain
- how to consult and enable the Siemens Logistics, procurement and supply chain function to address their challenges of today and tomorrow through Data and AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Embark on an international mission with a diverse data management and analytics team, applying advanced data analytics methodologies to drive Siemens' digital future in the domains logistics and procurement.
- Collaborate with analytics management and stakeholders of the data domains logistics and procurement to define and refine data strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Manage communication and marketing of the implementation of data products and
- driven applications. - Engage with data teams across Siemens to disseminate the data strategy and foster a
- driven culture. - Employ agile methodologies within AI and
- driven software development frameworks. - Lead a team of service support for Data products and Data driven applications across data domains logistics and procurement.
- Be an integral part of a dynamic,
- functional agile data domains teams. - Leverage
- edge cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data warehouses (Snowflake, DBT).
We are looking for someone with…
- Degree in IT, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data management and data analytics with considerable experience in procurement or relevant domains.
- Domain knowledge in logistics and procurement, data and AI expertise, with knowledge of the Siemens Data Ecosystem being advantageous.
- Strong foundation in analytics frameworks, and data management.
- Programming proficiency in SQL is an advantage.
- Familiarity with agile work methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and marketing skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
- Affinity for
- based ecosystems and related tools. - Experience in Visualization technologies (e. g. Qlik, Tableau, Power
BI) - Ability to understand technical concepts and turn them into business terms.
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills being a plus.
- Proficient in data architecture, solution design, and experience steering the execution of data products from
- sales to implementation.
