D365 F&O Functional Analyst needed to join our team, here at VML Enterprise Solutions.

The opportunity:

We are currently seeking an experienced D365 Functional Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing ongoing support and optimization of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. This role involves trainings, reporting, and providing technical support for end users to ensure the smooth running of financial and operational processes within the system. What you'll be doing:

1. Provide
   -
   - day support to users by resolving functional and technical issues related to Dynamics 365 F&O.
2. Troubleshoot issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
3. Handle incident and service requests, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) via a Jira ticketing system or similar.
4. Building, validating and customising Jet reports.
5. Provide training and guidance to end users on system functionality and best practices.
6. Develop and maintain user documentation, knowledge base articles, and system procedures.
7. Assist in configuring and maintaining various modules within Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, including Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Human Resources.
8. Perform regular system checks, updates, and optimizations to ensure peak performance.
9. Support system upgrades, patches, and new releases of Dynamics 365 F&O, ensuring minimal business disruption and smooth transitions.
10. Ensure the application of necessary security protocols, compliance standards, and financial regulations within the system.

What we want from you:

1. Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations' features, functionality, and configuration.
2. Proven experience in a support role with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (minimum 2-3 years).
3. Strong expertise in financial modules, particularly:

• General Ledger
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Fixed Assets
• Banking
• GRNI management

Advanced knowledge of:

• Financial posting structures
• Chart of Accounts configuration
• Dimension setup and management
• Purchase order processing
• Migration reconciliation

Proven experience in:

• Financial reporting tools (Jet Reports, Power BI)
• Budget management and upload processes
• Month-end closing procedures
• System controls and security setup

Understanding of system integration and data migration techniques.

Strong troubleshooting and
- solving skills.

Ability to analyze user issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to
- technical stakeholders.

Strong documentation and training skills.

Collaboration & Time Management:

Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.

Additional Technical experience will be advantageous:

1. Experience with data migration and
   - migration cleanup.
2. Knowledge of automation tools for financial processes.
3. Understanding of procurement processes and controls.
4. Experience in fixed asset module implementation.
5. Ability to troubleshoot posting and reconciliation issues.
6. Experience with financial report development.
