Cyber Security Consultant - Banking Sector - Direct Recruitment

Is an independent bank with over 30 years of experience, specializing in private banking, corporate banking, and investment banking, with a strong presence in Iberia and international markets.

You’ll contribute to supporting clients in creating value for their savings, financing needs, and financial advisory services, helping strengthen relationships and drive financial success.

Your new role:

• Ensure the implementation of strategic security guidelines defined by the 2nd line of defense, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
• Develop and maintain technical and security documentation, including policies, procedures, audit reports, and compliance records.
• Act as the main point of contact for internal and external entities, including auditors, regulators, and other business areas.
• Ensure the correct application of security policies by the 1st line of defense, monitoring processes and identifying areas for improvement.
• Manage and oversee Business Continuity initiatives, ensuring that continuity and recovery plans are properly implemented and updated.

What you will need to succeed:

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Cybersecurity certification and/or Security Management certification (e. g. , CISSP, CISM, etc. ).
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar role, with a focus on security governance, compliance, and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of Firewalls (Check
  Point), IDS/IPS, DLP, Antivirus, Endpoint Protection, and SIEM solutions (QRadar).
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• Spanish knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent writing and documentation skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery practices.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
