ERM Portugal is hiring!

Following an exciting period of continuous growth and development of projects in ERM Portugal, we are seeking a Senior Consultant with expertise in the area of Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change.

Based in Lisbon, you will focus on projects, assignments, and proposal tasks under the supervision of your team leader, contributing to the achievement of the team and group targets of quality project delivery, client satisfaction, productivity, and revenues.

Your main responsibilities and tasks will be:

1. Provide technical assistance on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)/sustainability developing benchmarking studies and sustainability strategies.
2. Assist corporate clients to respond to annual questionnaires and reporting requirements, such as the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and applicable regulations on disclosure of
   - financial information.
3. Support in managing or coordinating small size projects or whole elements of larger multidisciplinary or global projects.
4. Deliver multiple project tasks or components, including the development of proposals.
5. Supervise project team(s) and mentor junior personnel.
6. Understand the interrelationships between ERM services and policies and how these are applied within the business model(s).
7. Establish strong working relationships with clients through project delivery.

Your qualifications:

1. Master's degree in environmental engineering, industrial engineering, environmental science, or environmental discipline such as environmental management, sustainability, or climate change.
2. Three to five years of experience in environmental management and
   - related services with deep knowledge of environmental regulations.
3. Experience in Corporate Social Responsibility (strategy and reporting).
4. Experience as a project manager will be a plus.
5. Knowledge in double materiality assessment and CRSD requirements.
6. Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports.
7. Fluency in Portuguese and English languages is necessary. Other languages (French, Spanish, or Italian) are a plus.
