About the role

Our Corporate Controlling team, composed of 3 people, is integrated in the Corporate Finance department and focuses on Financial Planning & Analysis at Group level in collaboration with other Corporate Finance Departments & GBU Controlling Teams.

As a Corporate Controller, you will work on the Planning & Reporting activities to support the Corporate Finance team. You will get the opportunity to contribute to Solvay financial success and have a positive impact on business performance.

You will be accountable for:

1. The consolidation of Solvay Group results prepared on a monthly basis to provide timely insight into the business performance to the Executive Leadership Team.
2. Developing and continually improving the budgeting process and operating forecasts.
3. Contributing to accurate reporting in the Group Business Financial Consolidation tools.
4. Supporting the preparation of the Solvay external financial reporting for all the Group’s financial stakeholders, published on a quarterly basis, including the Annual Integrated Report.

About you

Relevant education degree or equivalent in Business or Finance.

Relevant work experience in Corporate Finance preferred.

Knowledge of Corporate Finance basics.

Knowledge and previous use of Business Financial Consolidation is a plus.

Excellent written and oral knowledge of English; French is a plus.

Behaviors:

Fostering a good working relationship with other Corporate Finance Departments, Group functions, the Global Business Services, and the Global Business unit controllers.

About the pay and benefits

• Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country (Portugal) base pay reasonably expected for this role is 38, 960 euros to 48, 700 euros, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
