We are currently looking for a new member for the Shopping Centre Management team to join us in the position of Coordinator, Maintenance - Algarve Shopping.

Working Place: Algarve Shopping

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, with a solid technical knowledge
• Skilled in managing operations, preferably in a shopping Centre
• Experience working with providers and contractors and guaranteeing their levels of service
• Strong ability to coordinate teams
• Fluent in English
• Proficient in MS Office
• Strong
  - solving skills
• Structured, results oriented and resilient

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, supervise and oversee the maintenance and technical equipment of the Shopping Centre, setting priorities for action and ensuring the proper deployment of technical and human resources;
• Coordinate and oversee the management of stocks (fuel, maintenance, support equipment and materials), assuring their availability and supply, turnover and replacement, in order to avoid the depletion of minimum stocks and to reduce immobilization costs;
• Implement actions to optimize the consumption and resources of the Shopping Centre;
• Monitor and evaluate companies providing specialty services (safety & security, cleaning, maintenance, gardening, etc. ) and setting action standards (contract specifications) in order to ensure the best cost/quality service in the market;
• Coordinate the collaboration contacts between the Shopping Centre and the official entities (e. g. fire Brigade, police), in order to assure that all the operations are running in accordance with the established safety & security standards;
• Coordinate (in collaboration with the Operations Manager) the assessment and approval of construction projects presented by the shopkeepers;
• Prepare event reports (technical maintenance, interventions, repairs, energy consumption and machine registries) in order to examine the business’ progress, detect deviations and taking or suggesting corrective measures. Identify, select, propose for approval and follow up on items that compose the investment plan of the Shopping Centre.
